Stop Numero Uno, Greg and Corinne =)

After 'Graduation' from orientation we said your goodbyes to everyone and headed off on our six hour car ride adventure! Yay!! Right? Kinda, there wasn't much talking. More sleeping. As soon as we got to Greg's house we dropped off all of our stuff and headed straight over to a BBQ. The BBQ was for a group called Recovery Road. For my RPBC peoples it's like Set Free. It was really cool getting to talk to all these people who just love Jesus so much. Since we were having the BBQ in the park many homeless came, even some of whom didn't go to the Recovery Road church. During the BBQ a man name Craig was to give his testimony. It was amazing to hear the way Jesus took away him drug and alcohol problems after he was saved. He is a wonderful man now, so nice. After his testimony men in the audience listening to him started to think. Then Pastor Paul (The church's pastor) had an alter call. 5 men gave their life to Christ that night. It was amazing. My partners and myself were on a 'God high' after that. We went home that night and just talked while looking over the sunset about just how amazing God is. The next day was our chill day. Nancy and I did laundry using 'Team Work" according to Jason. We set off into the town and found 'The Happy Hippie' which was an awesome little coffee shop. We asked the women there if there was anything we could pray for her for. Turns out she was getting her gallbladder removed. After we left there we went to his little jewelry stand. Therre this couple just captured us. The husband sister had just been diagnosed with cancer and her husband died two weeks before that with cancer! It was terrible. I'd like to ask for you guys to pray for them, just as we are. From there we did some roaming around and then got a balloon and mug for Corinne. The Balloon was a clown smiley face, we named him Lenny. But a tree hit Lenny! It's was sad. We ran into the surf shop and brought a FOX sticker to put on the balloon. After we got him home nothing really big happened. Except for Jason's double Y'all. That was cute. Then we headed over to The Reaves. =)

First Week or So =)

Hey!! So I'm going to start off a little behind. I'm going to go waaay back (Two weeks ago) and start from there...
June 6th, (My birthday=D)
We, meaning my parents and I, left the house and got some breakfast before heading off to the airport. Once at the airport we prayed with Tony, Carrie and the Barkers. I was pretty happy to see Bill before I left because I almost didn't see him for the whole summer!! It would have been sad. I went past security and soon enough I was off on my way to Sacramento, CA for training. I got off the plane and headed overt to baggage claim where I met Charles McClung, the missions director for California. After checking in with him I got my luggage and was being introduced to people. Finally I was introduced to one of my partners Cheyenne and her parents Tracy and Allen. The two of them we're off on their way and I started talking to Cheyenne. She is such a sweetheart. Eventually we were joined by a girl named Liz, then came Jackie. Then Maggie and Ana came later. We had a lot of fun sitting in that airport for 4 hours waiting for everyone to show up. After everyone arrived we headed off to our 'party bus' and started off on our 3 hour drive out to Jenness Camp. The back of the bus (as bad as that sounds. Everyone in the back of the bus talked and played games, everyone in the front didn't talk to us) had a lot of fun together. When we got to the camp everyone dropped off their stuff and went to dinner. The whole week was amazing and I made many friend I've come to love. My partners and I get along very well and I absolutely adore them.
